Zimmer and Peacock was founded in 2013 with the aim of providing end-to-end solutions for clients' electrochemical biosensor and in-vitro diagnostic needs. We began with a focus on medical devices and point-of-care diagnostics, but quickly realized the potential for our technology to impact a range of industries.
In 2015, we started exploring the use of our sensors in food production, and our collaboration with Oxford University on the development of chilli sensing technology began. We were excited by the potential of our technology to improve food safety and quality, and by 2017 we had launched Foodsense, our portable device for measuring chilli hotness.
Since then, we have continued to innovate and expand our offerings, launching a range of spinoff products and expanding into new industries such as soil health monitoring. Our team is spread across multiple countries, including Norway, the UK, France, and the US, and we are dedicated to using our expertise and technology to make a positive impact on the world around us.
