The Guinness World Record Book has an error in it's section on chillies, though it is correct in saying that Ed Currie is the record holder for the hottest chilli pepper, Pepper X, at 2.7 M SHU; the book was in error when they said that a regular Tabasco sauce measures around 400 SHU, in fact regular Tabasco sauce measure at 2500 to 5000 SHU and was confirmed in the video below.
