The anatomy of a chilli pepper and the distribution of capsaicin with a chilli

The capsaicin in a chilli pepper is not uniformly distributed, in fact it is concentrated in specific parts of the pepper. In the Figure and table below and the embedded video we show that the part of the chilli pepper with the high Scoville Heat Unit is the ovary.
